How do you approach wedding photography and what style do you shoot ?
I'm a relaxed, organised and easygoing photographer, I don't believe in stress and take a professional and relaxed approach to wedding photography. My approach comprises of a candid, photojournalistic style that combines beautifully with classical portraits to capture an element of elegance fun and romance. Composition and colour are key elements of my work, I like to use natural light rather than flashto create natural and stunning portraits.
Can I decide the look, covers, layout and design of my storybook album?
You will be given the option to view the proofs of each page so that you know exactly what your personalised Storybook album will look like before it is bound and printed.
How many photographers will shoot on our wedding day?
Two professional wedding photographers will be photographing your wedding day.
Will you visit our wedding locations before our wedding Day?
Yes, if you like I can visit the brides house for final consultation and the engagement portrait shoot if you choose to have one, we can arrange to visit other locations such as the church and reception the same day too.
I don't think we want preparation shots of the groom in the morning?
This is an optional extra that I include at no extra charge; it is totally up to you to decide.
How many photographs will you take on our Wedding Day?
This all depends on the weather, location and level of co-operation with your guests. We usually take about 1000-1500 photographs. Small events can be less and larger events can be more. You will receive the best images from your day to choose from, which is usually 700-1000 photographs.
Is it possible to give you a list of photos we want taken?
Shooting to a long list of photographs is something that can compromise my style and approach. However, an absolute must-have list of photographs is possible to arrange on the day.
When do you photograph the formal photos?
It is ultimately your choice when you want formal shots taken. I like to take a few formal photographs in the brides house and also family portraits at the reception to compliment the candid photography throughout the day.
How long before we see the pictures after the wedding?
Your photographs will be available for viewing within two week of the reception.
